Matcha White Chocolate Cookies

Soft and chewy matcha cookies with creamy white chocolate – earthy, sweet, and slightly crispy at the edges. A simple treat with café vibes.

Ingredients
  

  • 120 g butter room temperature
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 80-100 g white chocolate chopped or chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
  2. In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla, mix until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, matcha, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Add dry ingredients to the wet, mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in white chocolate.
  7. Scoop dough onto baking tray (lined with parchment).
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers are still soft.
  9. Let cool a few minutes on the tray, then transfer to a rack.
