Apple Crumble Mini Pots

These apple crumble mini pots are the perfect cozy treat to use up leftover apples or pears – warm, buttery, and crunchy.

Ingredients
  

For the Fruit Base:
  • 5 apples or fruit of your choice, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp sugar or more to taste
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
For the Crumble Topping:
  • 100 g cold butter cubed
  • 100 g flour
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon (optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
  2. In a bowl, toss the chopped apples with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch. Divide the mixture into 4 small oven-safe ramekins.
  3. For the crumble topping: Add flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon to a bowl. Add the cold butter and rub everything together with your fingers until you get a crumbly texture.
  4. Generously top the fruit with the crumble mixture.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden and bubbling.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes and serve warm – optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

  • Add chopped nuts or raisins for extra texture.
  • Crumbles can be prepared ahead and baked just before serving.
